Katlin Hecox; LMFT, LMBT

Katlin Hecox received her Master of Arts degree in 1986 in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (NC, NV and CA) and a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor (NV). In addition to her many years in private practice, Katlin has spent time teaching in college and university settings and has worked in Social Services and crisis management in the public sector. Katlin is also a trained EMDR Practitioner, Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist (NC#1112) and Diplomate in Energy Psychology. She offers biofeedback services, as well, for those who are interested in a mind-body approach to therapy.

Katlin brings her passion for energy and bodywork to teaching classes from Meditation to Metaphysical Qabalah. Her most recent certification is Diplomate of Comprehensive Energy Psychology with ACEP. She has been practicing healing arts for over 25 years and received bodywork training at the Santa Monica Massage School, Esalen, and at the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts. In addition to Swedish, Deep Tissue and Esalen massage, Katlin has certifications in Zero Balancing, LaStone Massage, Reiki, TYLEM, and with Beyond Success Life Coaching. Katlin offers many classes such as  aromatherapy and spiritual healing. As an LMFT, Katlin also does addiction and substance abuse counseling in Danville VA at Yoga & Wellness Center, or at her private office or in Integrative Therapies Inc in Greensboro NC.  She is also an Adjunct Professor at Averett University in VA.
